About Nottingham Triathlon Club

Nottingham Triathlon Club (NTC) is an established triathlon club based in Nottingham and the surrounding area, providing training, race and social activities for adults and children.

Our club has both a junior squad, which accepts children aged between 8 and 17 years old, and an adult squad. All members need to be able to swim to a minimum standard (not very far or fast) and to be able to cycle without stabilisers. We believe that all athletes should be able to enjoy this amazing sport and will make adjustments where possible to ensure that athletes with disabilities can participate in our training sessions.

Our club has two type of fees which members pay, membership fees which are paid annually or every 2 months and training fees which are paid monthly for juniors and can be paid monthly or for individual sessions for adults.

Membership fees are used to cover the cost of running and developing the club (British Triathlon affiliation, advertising etc) and training fees are used to cover the cost of running our training sessions (venue hire, coaching costs etc).

The club is managed by a committee. Each member of the committee is elected to a 2-year term by the club’s members at the AGM.

Training is led by our Head Coach who is also a member of the committee. The Head Coach is responsible for developing a plan for training and leading our team of coaches.

There are many opportunities for volunteers to help with the running of the club. If you would like to get involved get in touch with us at hello@nottinghamtri.com.

From parkrun to the Outlaw Full — everyone is supported, and every step matters.

At Nottingham Triathlon Club, we believe sport is for everyone — from first-timers to seasoned racers. Whether you’re running your first 5K or completing a full triathlon, you’re part of the same supportive community.

Exercise is powerful for mental health.
It can ease stress, lift your mood, improve sleep, and create connection. But equally important is knowing when to rest.

Recovery is part of the process.
Taking time out, listening to your body, and caring for your mind are signs of strength.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reminding everyone:
• Move in a way that feels right for you
• Rest when you need it
• Support others on their journey
• And know that you’re never alone
