About Nottingham Triathlon Club
Nottingham Triathlon Club (NTC) is an established triathlon club based in Nottingham and the surrounding area, providing training, race and social activities for adults and children.
Our club has both a junior squad, which accepts children aged between 8 and 17 years old, and an adult squad.Β All members need to be able to swim to a minimum standard (not very far or fast) and to be able to cycle without stabilisers.Β We believe that all athletes should be able to enjoy this amazing sport and will make adjustments where possible to ensure that athletes with disabilities can participate in our training sessions.
Our club has two type of fees which members pay, membership fees which are paid annually or every 2 months and training fees which are paid monthly for juniors and can be paid monthly or for individual sessions for adults.
Membership fees are used to cover the cost of running and developing the club (British Triathlon affiliation, advertising etc) and training fees are used to cover the cost of running our training sessions (venue hire, coaching costs etc).
The club is managed by a committee. Each member of the committee is elected to a 2-year term by the club’s members at the AGM.Β
Training is led by our Head Coach who is also a member of the committee. The Head Coach is responsible for developing a plan for training and leading our team of coaches.
There are many opportunities for volunteers to help with the running of the club. If you would like to get involved get in touch with us at hello@nottinghamtri.com.

π European Aquathlon Championships 2026 β Banyoles, Spain π¬π§πͺπΈ
What an incredible journey it has been to reach the European Aquathlon Championships in Banyoles, Spain and represent Great Britain. Your dedication, hard work and commitment have truly paid off.
π 1km Swim
π 5km Run
β±οΈ Finish Time: 47:00
π 9th in Age Group (23 athletes)
Racing in 35Β°C air temperatures with a 29Β°C water temperature made for incredibly tough conditions. Despite a challenging swim with some sighting issues and a tricky transition, Alison produced a fantastic run in the heat to secure a top-10 age group finish.
Not every race goes perfectly but racing internationally, learning from the experience and coming away with a top-10 age group finish is something to be immensely proud of. A brilliant performance to build on for the future.
Amazing journey to get here. Triathlon's coming home! π¬π§π
Congratulations, Alison! We're all proud of you at Nottingham Triathlon Club. π
