Benefits of joining Nottingham Triathlon Club
Our club is comprised of athletes who compete in a complete range of different types of triathlon as well as individual swimming, cycling or running events. We support a wide range of athletes, from beginners wanting to complete their first triathlon through to experienced GB Age Group competitors.
Our junior section welcomes athletes from 8 years old and provides a supportive atmosphere for younger athletes to improve fitness and enjoy participating in sporting activities.
Joining Nottingham Triathlon Club means that:
- You will belong to a club that will support and encourage you.
- You will have a group of people to train with and to swap stories, tips or race reports with.
- You will be coached by British Triathlon qualified coaches.
- You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and to improve your overall fitness.
- You will receive guidance on equipment and preparation for races.
- You will be able to compete in events as a member of Nottingham Triathlon Club – guaranteed to get you lots of encouragement at local events.
- You will receive a discount on your membership of British Triathlon.

At Nottingham Triathlon Club, it’s not just about getting fitter, going faster or chasing PBs.
For many of us, sport is about switching off after a tough day, clearing your head and spending time with people who understand.
We celebrate the PBs and age-group results but we’re also there for the DNFs, tough sessions and bad days.
A team is there for the highs and the lows. Whatever’s going on in your life, you’re not alone. 💙

What a weekend! 🙌
We kicked things off with the Nottm Tri x WTRFLD Coaching End of Season Social — great group, great weather and a great way to celebrate a fantastic year! 💙
Plus alpacas and coffee… ☕🦙 What more could you want?!
Then it was a whole lot of fun and racing for the NTC crew! 👇
🏃 THOMAS completed the Cardiff Half Marathon in an impressive 1:24:30! 💪🏅
🏃♀️ CHLOE completed the Lincoln Half Marathon in 1:47:43! 🏅
🏃 REECE took on Derby Runner League One! 💪
🚴 EDDIE is racing at the UCI Masters Track World Championships at the Lee Valley VeloPark Velodrome in London on Monday! 🏆
🏊 PHIL competed in the 12-hour swim relays! 🖤💛
🏃♀️ BECCA smashed it on Leg 3 at the National Road Relays, finishing 29th out of 66 runners on her leg — her highest-ever national placing! 💪🖤💛
🏆 The team finished 30th overall nationally! 👏
🚴 KEV took on the Lincs League CX! 🚵♂️
🏃♀️ Well done, SUSAN, at the Cardiff Half Marathon! 🏅
